Seán Street is Emeritus Professor of Radio at Bournemouth University. Prose includes The Memory of Sound – Preserving the Sonic Past (Routledge, 2015, paperback, 2016), a sequel to his previous text on radio and sound, The Poetry of Radio – The Colour of Sound, (Routledge, 2013/14). The third part of this trilogy, Sound Poetics: Interaction and Personal Identity, is published by Palgrave MacMillan this year. He has appeared in many radio and television programmes, discussing the history and aesthetics of radio and sound. As a poet, he has published nine collections, the latest being Camera Obscura (Rockingham Press, 2016).
